     The Reut_B5694 gene from Ralstonia eutropha jmp134 encodes an ethyl tert-butyl ether degradation (EthD) protein (PF07110). The 3bf4 structure adopts a ferredoxin-like fold and belongs to the dimeric alpha+beta barrel superfamily, EthD-like family. It shows strong structural similarity (DALI Z-score=11) with the BH0200 protein, another structure from this family solved by structural genomics (PDB ID: PDB:2ftr). Use of these enzymes has shown promise in bioremediation applications [Ref].
