Protein Summary

YP_677363.1 is a protein with 113  residues from Cytophaga hutchinsonii (strain ATCC 33406 / NCIMB 9469), which is an abundant aerobic cellulolytic soil bacterium.  C. hutchinsonii is a gram-negative bacteriu that belongs to the phylum Bacteroidetes (also known as the Cytophaga-Flavobacterium-Bacteroides group). C. hutchinsonii utilizes very few substrates as sole carbon and energy sources.  Besides cellulose, its only known substrates are cellobiose and glucose. The sequence alignment results from NCBI can not provide a clear clue for function annotation.  The sequence search in Pfam suggests that this target (residue 9-111) should belong to the SnoaL-like polyketide cyclase (Pfam 07366).  There is one YP_677363.1molecule in each asymmetric unit.  The interface interaction suggests that the biomolecule of YP_677363.1be a dimer.
